What service area do you provide for?

Our dog walkers service Airdrie, Balzac and the neighbourhoods on the outskirts of Northwest Calgary and Northeast Calgary.

Will it be the same person walking my dog every single time?

Your dog will get to meet a couple of our team members during their time with us. We work as a team so in case someone goes on vacation, their car breaks down we have another dog walker who can fill in. If you have a dog who takes some time to warm up to new people we recommend booking an ongoing appointment so we can maintain as much consistency as possible. You are also welcome to book an additional meet and greet if you’d like to meet more of our team.

Do you pick up my dog?

Yes, we pick up your dog from either your home or office. If you’re not there during services, we can access your home using keyless entry or a key lockbox.

How will you access our home if we are not there?

If you have a townhome or a free-standing home, you’d need to have either a keyless entry for us or a key lockbox on your property.If you live in an apartment where you’re not allowed a key lockbox, then you’d need to provide us with three copies of the key at your initial sign-up process with us. There are a few benefits to the lockbox: if the dog walker assigned to your service has an emergency we have a back up walker who will be able to access your home. You also will have the code so if you happen to lock yourself out you can use the lockbox as well! You can purchase your own, or we can provide one for $30 and ship it directly to you.

What are your hours?

Our office is open from 9 AM to 12 PM, Monday through Friday. Our service hours extend from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday to Sunday.

Can I get an exact time for my dog walk?

We operate dog walks within two designated time blocks where we begin the walk: 9-11 AM and 11 AM-2 PM. There are factors like traffic or unforeseen circumstances and this allows us to keep our promise to you that we will arrive within a certain time frame. If you prefer your walk closer to a specific time let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it whenever our schedule allows. We prioritize puppies and seniors with time preferences.

My Dog is Reactive, Excitable, or Pulls on the Leash - Can I Still Use Your Services?

We recognize that every dog is a work in progress, and we don’t expect perfection. When walking reactive dogs, we take proactive measures to avoid potential triggers and utilize treats to redirect their attention when needed. Our top priority is the safety of both your dog and our team. During the consultation, we do a trial walk. If we determine that we may encounter difficulty in restraining your dog in these situations, we’ll communicate openly with you and provide recommendations for reputable local trainers who can offer further support.

Do you operate in all weather?

Absolutely! Rain, shine, or snow, we will be there. However, in the event of thunderstorms, lightning, hail, or extreme temperatures, we may tailor the service by shortening the walk and integrating indoor playtime. This ensures not only their safety but also their enjoyment and well-being during their time with us.

How much advance notice do you require?

There is no such thing as booking a service “too early!” We are happy to accept last-minute requests as our schedule can accommodate.

Requests made after 12pm the day before will incur an additional flat fee of $10.

What is your cancellation policy?

When we book your services, we reserve exclusive time for you and your dog and have likely turned away other clients during this time. We require at least 2 business days notice for cancellations or the full service fee is still charged.

How do I pay?

We accept all major Canadian credit cards. Invoices for the upcoming week’s pre-booked walks are emailed every Friday. Payments are automatically processed on Monday using your card on file, ensuring you never have to worry about remembering to pay your invoice on time. After payment is processed, credits will be issued for cancelled services that were cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policies for use with future service.
